Police pull over to arrest Florida man—for blocking Flock camera on public sidewalk.

He sat holding a 12-foot pool skimmer with sign taped on top.

Today all camera saw was sign:

"Down With Flock Cameras."

A witness offered to help:

"What's your name? I'll come bail you out!"

Carl Gunn, age 77, told a local reporter that 2 police cruisers had already stopped by to interrogate him for at least 15 minutes.

"I have a constitutional right to my privacy," he said.

"I’m a law-abiding citizen, and I don’t need anyone sticking their nose in my business... And if they do, I’m going to chop it off."

Flock cameras create an interconnected network that logs the movements of nearly every vehicle—without warrants.

Enabling broad surveillance that can be shared across agencies and used far beyond solving specific crimes.

Incident occurred in the Coquina Key neighborhood of St. Pete, Florida.

He doesn't have an account on this platform—so posting first full length and credited video here to help raise awareness.

He’s no hero; he’s an asshole who prevents criminals from being caught faster and crimes from being prevented.

@88german Question, do you think he has a first amendment right to "Peacefully" Protest? If you do, Look at where he is. He is on a PUBLIC side walk, paid for by tax payers(you, him and I). He isn't impeding anything, if THESE Cops where doing their job correctly they would not need this particular tool that clearly is a totalitarian violation of our 4th amendment rights by the Government. In this case the Local Government is violating his (1st and 4th amendment) Civil Rights. Someone obviously told these COPs to arrest this man, Hope they find out who and prosecute that person. Thou the COPs could have refused to follow those orders after the first initial contact, but the article does not say if they were the original COPs. Read about Flock cameras and see how many are in your area now Compared to 5 years ago

@88german
Until they come after you. Then I think this whole, 'let yourself be recorded every time you step out your front door', will create a different attitude about it.

...says the utter moron, whilst holding his CELL PHONE in his hand, recording. You cannot be this stupid. You just can't.

That's technically not illegal.

Don't care if someone claims the liberals are spoon feeding the conservatives about a "surveillance state". it is a MAJOR unlawful action that is protected by our 4th Amendment Rights.

If you are in favor of flock cameras, just be ready for the Democrats to start sending "Agents"of any sort, to break down your front door and search for whatever 'may be' illegal.

Tacking everyone's public movement by the government under the pretense that it 'finds criminals' will be the same excuse they use to break into your home, unannounced, to 'find' illegals, or any thing else they deem illegal.

@Cripple they already have, a lady in Ohio was wrongfully arrested and charged for "Porch Piracy". The investigating cop used Flock Cameras as evidence, but was to lazy to verify the whereabouts of the woman when the "Porch Piracy" happened. Which she was on the other side of town when another woman Caught on a ring cameras did the "Porch Piracy". But the Cop arrested her anyway.

@ultradiver180
Our police forces are out for publicity and nothing else.

"Look at us !!! We always find the culprit" -(whispers) "even when we have to charge the innocent to prove that to you..."

Liberals are pushing a campaign of "surveillance state" that conservatives are eating up with a spoon. Liberals are trying to get rid of these cameras to further their lawless agenda. Don't buy into it, Flock cameras puts turds in jail.

if you aren't doing anything wrong why do you care?

@Galaga If you could read, I'd suggest George Orwell's 1984, but that wouldn't do any good because you'd also need to be able to comprehend it.

The ((edited to,) White Gentile people) police are world class at their job. The problem is they are (White Gentile) police.

(Mod note, Just as the anti-jew comments, if done over and over, or have no proof or is not in the topic of the video are deleted, so shall the "goy" word will also have the comment deleted. Goy, is now strictly used by those who hate the modern white male.)
