I would think it would be against their civil rights to list them, or anyone else, as any race on all government forms

As I have said for many years, the government needs to fix its forms and add additional race options. They are now actively working to fix this; I read about it a while back.

But here is some more context for the simple-minded who are not aware:

This is where it all started: The turning point was a 1915 federal court case called Dow v. United States. George Dow, a Syrian immigrant, was denied citizenship on the grounds that he was not White. He appealed the decision. The federal court ultimately ruled in his favor, deciding that people from the Middle East and the shores of the Mediterranean were legally "White persons" under the law, granting them the right to become citizens. Unfortunately, this paradox in the system was never addressed until now.

Also, one should study the difference between white and Caucasian before causing more embarrassment. Historically, Caucasians are from Europe, MENA, the Horn of Africa, and parts of Asia. What you seem to understand about white and Caucasian may not be accurate; you can choose to deny that since it probably goes against everything you believe, or you can study and become a tad smarter.
