Wild for one to think a passive non-violent act such as sitting down denotes an act of hate towards America. You need to read up on what freedom is about. I love America and I believe people should exercise their rights. There's a reason it's a request to "please stand." It's not against any law to sit for the national anthem. Now when it comes time for people in uniform (military, police, sports etc.) that is where I believe people should remain professional and stand for the anthem. See rights aren't about what makes you feel good, it's about what people are free to do and it falls under freedom of speech, you know- the one's conservatives love to say the 2nd amendment is meant to protect. once you adulterate what that freedom means then you've bastardize everything our forefathers did to establish this nation as a "free country". You can stand by your "values" but I stand by our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
