This veteran survived an IED in Iraq that killed his entire team. Burns over 40% of his body, face burned to the skull, lost his arm. Dozens of surgeries later, he’s a stand-up comedian who turns pain into laughter.

At the Louisville airport yesterday — exhausted after a show — a group of young girls pointed, whispered, gathered friends, and took pictures of him like he was a freak show.

He didn’t get angry. He’s at peace with his scars. But he’s heartbroken for what it teaches kids… and what it could do to someone who isn’t okay yet.

His message: “Raise your kids right, people.”

Then he prayed for those girls to grow into kind women who help others… “and if they don’t listen, Lord strike them down with lightning and send them to hell.”
