fuck them all, keep ur older stuff , look after it and u can fix tat stuff urself.
This should be illegal. We need much stronger right to repair laws in America
Example: This door handle on the inside of this new 2023 vehicle broke, you would think you just need a new door handle. Wrong
You now have to replace the entire door panel because they have manufactured it so that the door handle can not be removed
So now instead of paying a small amount of money for a new door handle, you have pay insane amounts of money for a whole door panel
A lot of the complexity and expense is mandated by federal regulations to fight against "Global Warming" via limiting energy usage/water usage/emissions. Still, I do think that manufacturers are incentivized to limit the used market as much as possible, and I have seen evidence of them doing this, as a repair technician in a particular field.
Also if you 2 litre merc has an amg badge on it i automatically hate you. You drive a car that takes 10 days to get to speed but looks like the fast one. They should call it the lite version and watch how fast everybody stops buying it
If you buy a new car every year just so your number plate says so. But you drive a 2.0 litre diesel, you are literally ultimate goy peasant. Its only a flex to other retards that care about numberplates and not if car actually good or not
