The video, shared on July 8 by Matt Van Swol, shows the incident in New Bern, North Carolina, and drew strong online support with many calling the men heroes for resisting mass surveillance tools. Flock Safety cameras, used by thousands of agencies nationwide, scan license plates and vehicle details to aid investigations like recovering stolen cars, but critics including the ACLU argue they enable warrantless tracking of innocent drivers. Similar vandalism has hit areas like Pageland, South Carolina, and Houston, highlighting growing tensions over privacy versus public safety as the network scans billions of plates monthly.

Police in North Carolina asked the public to identify two men who recently cut down a brand-new Flock camera.

Ahhh the ACLU. The same organization that champions people's right to record public officials, because they have no expectations of privacy while in public. Yet now they demand privacy when in the public....

Don't worry the police will stop them for a dim license plate light.

@Galaga
Yeah we should all live under jewish skynet tyranny because we haven't done anything that they've ruled wrong yet.

Ineffective. Surveillance camera status remains operational.

This is suddenly an issue because flock cameras are being used to nab illegal aliens. Do not do the work of the Antiwhites. The last time people got suckered with this was BLM riots and "criminal justice reform".

1 +1 0falcon0 2 weeks ago

@Theocritus they aint gonna uninstall the cameras if they get all the illegals tho are they..

We need to find the leaders of the flock cameras. It does no good unless you cut the head off the leader..

Yeah police... good luck on somebody turning in those who are fed up with your "No Rights for your own safety" attitude.

Big Brother is alive and well in tbe USA.

Every Flock camera needs to be deactivated.
