I pastored a small church in South Texas. One of my deacons worked on offshore drilling rigs - two weeks on and two weeks off. When he was off work, many times he would call me to go pray over someone with him. One time we went to this small shotgun house. When his friend opened the door, it was very hazy in the house. He took us to one of the bedrooms. Behind the door was an elderly woman who was curled up in a baby bed. Her hair looked like it was falling out and she was scared of us. I told my deacon to lay hands on her with me. I immediately felt like was a Mexican witch, a curendera. I prayed and rebuked the demons in Jesus' might name. That was on a Monday evening. The next Wednesday night as I was preaching I saw three cars pull up outside the church. That little woman came in with her family and she was jumping and praising Jesus for setting her free from the demons. This stuff if very real and the demons cannot withstand Jesus' name.

The power of Christ repelled her.
