NEW: Police release bodycam footage of them arresting the Empire State Building couple who got engaged on top of the building.

Angela Nikolau, 33, and Ivan Kuznetsov, 32, were arrested after pulling off the stunt.

The pair reportedly accessed the spire by sneaking through a hatch on the 102nd floor.

Nikolau and Kuznetsov are known for their stunts worldwide and were featured in a 2024 Netflix documentary titled "Skywalkers: A Love Story."

Nikolau's father, a Russian circus artist, called his daughter's climb "normal."

"I think it is normal to climb up a roof in any country, including the United States, according to any constitution," he said to a reporter.

When asked if he was worried about his daughter, he said: "Why should I be worried? I climb up roofs myself."
