34 inmates at a St. Louis jail throw temper tantrums due to phone access and Wi-Fi issues, prompting officers to throw pepper-spray grenades.

Authorities have now released video footage of a February incident at Buzz Westfall Justice Center.

Inmates started barricading the entry point with furniture in the facility. They also threw a basketball at a security camera, broke TVs, and damaged part of the ceiling, leading to $31,000 in damages.

"Thirty-four inmates were involved. Out of that, four main actors and criminal charges have been turned over to the Clayton Police Department and to the prosecutor for review," said Captain Timothy Ware.

The inmates were reportedly upset about "dayroom time," access to their phones, and Wi-Fi problems.
