This was hard to watch. My wife and I rescued, fostered, vetted and homed a bunch of animals from the '90's on, and we've had a few that died on us. Unfortunately we were quite attached to all of them. ;(

When you bring in stray animals, they usually aren't in the best of health to begin with, but knowing that never makes it easier.

@Coolestjunglemonkey Thank god there was a happy ending. This really was hard to watch. I hate feeling like there's nothing that I can do to help a sick animal. ;(
