This was hard to watch. My wife and I rescued, fostered, vetted and homed a bunch of animals from the '90's on, and we've had a few that died on us. Unfortunately we were quite attached to all of them.

When you bring in stray animals, they usually aren't in the best of health to begin with, but knowing that never makes it easier.

@Lemmiwinks It's hard to pick a certain animal or breed, but any animal in need is a friend of mine.

My wife and I have probably helped two dozen cats get healthy again and find good homes, but I've also rescued a few snakes, and oddly three pigeons. There were two rabbits that I tried helping, but they were too far gone and died overnight.
