SHOCKING: A father and son met up for a Facebook Marketplace deal in Houston and ended up robbed at gunpoint, their truck stolen by a teen suspect. The victim said he underestimated the suspect because he looked like a “little kid,” but police later chased down and arrested the teen, who is now charged with aggravated robbery.

Dumbass, always carry when meeting for sales.

(P.S. When they respond verbally or written "How much you be axin' fo dat? You beez take $forty fo?" or start axin' questions about the item for sale THAT IS STATED IN THE AD - cut it off immediately! DO NOT RESPOND!).

I've NEVER had any problems selling on Craigslist or ebay.....or via an ad in a newspaper (Yes, I'm that old). Words of wisdom.

Anyone STUPID enough to do this OTHER than perhaps in the lobby of the police station, deserves what they get! ;)

@kma8675309 Agreed. Especially when theyre black. They would have communicated prior in some fashion before this meet, verbally or written.

if you are doping any deal from random people online you should have a gun ready to go. I wouldve had someone not involved in the sale standing there ready to light dude up.

Black "little kid" = 24 in real life. He took on the man of the house role at 11 afterall.

I've sold some things on Facebook Marketplace and I always meet in public and have a concealed firearm. I think this punk is part of the communist socialist group who think everything belongs to them.

That is a really good way to get shot in the fucking face! :D Little dude was more bold than brainy! I did a cash transaction when I sold my Mazda, and my wife and I were both armed on opposite sides of the room, just in case.

@JobyFluorine nothing like crossfire

@Galaga Plot twist, they were both experts in Galaga, so no crossfire there.

@JobyFluorine Just sold a car for cash yesterday no problems. I already tracked their phone number to an address via caller i.d. and noted their plate number when they left.
