A summer day on the river in Kyiv, Ukraine turned tragic after a man described by witnesses as a “diver” jumped from a bridge into the Dnipro River near a popular recreational beach and never resurfaced. The area beneath the bridge is a well‑known spot where locals and visitors swim, sunbathe and gather in large numbers during warm weather.

Rescue teams searched the water for days before finally recovering his body several days later. Authorities are now working to clarify whether the jump was a reckless stunt, an accident, or something more deliberate, but so far no official motive has been confirmed.
