A near fatal crash occurred this morning June 6 at Cars and Coffee Morrisville when a woman plowed into attendees narrowly missing a motorcyclist. Cars and Coffee Morrisville is a monthly gathering of car enthusiasts at Page Road in Durham, North Carolina - one of the Southeast’s largest monthly car events. Bystanders can be seen rushing to the vehicle to help immediately after impact. No fatalities have been reported. This is exactly why safety protocols at car events matter. Crowds, vehicles in motion and tight spaces are a dangerous combination. The driver’s condition and the circumstances that led to the crash have not yet been officially confirmed.
