Modern bread, especially white bread offers virtually no nutritional value for wildlife.

It is worse than junk food for them. It will fill them up but offer very few calories as their systems do not process refined flour.

@MatchboxxCar There may be an infestation of squirrels in the area for whatever reason, and the community is trying to abate the situation without poison? All except for the platelip Ubangi, that is.

Squirrells are cute until they get into you car and eat the wiring, into you attic and start setting up a condo. They are rats with fluffy tails.
