In Adana, retired police officer Faruk Kayhan argued with his son, Ahmet Kaan Kayhan, who allegedly asked him for money. As the argument escalated, Kayhan shot and killed his son with a gun, then called the police and surrendered.

The incident occurred in Elif Su Uludağ Street, Gültepe Neighborhood, Sarıçam district of Adana. Allegedly, Ahmet Kaan Kayhan, who asked his father, retired police officer Faruk Kayhan, for money, started arguing with him when he received a negative response.

Ahmet Kaan Kayhan, who is alleged to be a drug addict, reportedly attacked his father with a knife during an argument. In response, Faruk Kayhan pulled out a gun from his waistband and shot his son.

Ahmet Kaan Kayhan, who was shot in various parts of his body, collapsed to the ground covered in blood at the scene, while it was learned that his father, Kayhan, called the police and turned himself in.
