At last check, Mosquito control worldwide was a 9 billion dollar moneymaker, no way they ever want to wipe the mosquitos out. It's likely some other caper for big pharma or the CDC to benefit from.

@tommix1 Most likely. The last thing that Big Insecticide would do is kill off their money machine. Bayer, BASF, Dow, Monsanto, DuPont, et. al, all have a vested interest in the livelyhood of mosquitoes. They'd be the first to stand in front of this to keep it from happening.
