Motorcycle thieves were caught in the act; one was injured.

Two suspected motorcycle robbers were arrested by agents of the Investigations Department during an operation carried out on Chóferes del Chaco Avenue, in front of the Arnaldo store in the Obrero neighborhood of Ciudad del Este.

The detainees were identified as Librado Díaz Cabral, 33, with a record for aggravated robbery and intentional homicide, in addition to having a prison benefit of temporary release valid until June 2026, and Mathias Joel Gaona Ojeda, 19, who was injured during the procedure and remained hospitalized under police custody at the Regional Hospital.
