Harinderpal Athwal, 41, has been jailed for more than 11 years after mounting a pavement, killing a husband, seriously injuring his wife, and then driving over the victim a second time in Birmingham.

The 54-year-old husband died at the scene, while his wife suffered life-changing injuries.

Athwal, who was disqualified from driving, struck the couple on Soho Road in December 2025 and fled the scene.

STOP letting them come into YOUR country, and DEPORT those already there and most of this garbage will stop.
