I thought he died 35 years ago.
Chevy chase completely insults interviewer
The interviewer tells Chevy Chase:
“I’m just trying to figure you out.”
His response?
“No sh*t?! You’re not bright enough.”
Then the interview somehow gets even more uncomfortable.
“I know you’re not gonna put that on the air… and I hope not.”
Yikes! Talk about Main Character Syndrome. Excellent example of run away ego. His ego was out of amuck.
Btw, he's always been a dick, and I believe that most of his coworkers will substantiate that fact.
As a person, he's abrasive, rude and always talks it down to fellow cast members, grips and producers.
I'm his defense, he was fucking hilarious in the Vacation movies! Also, Community was kinda funny because of him, although he wasn't pivotal, as displayed the first time he left.
That's why they left him out, for the SNL 50th anniversary event. He's a dick, and nobody likes him.
Why is the interviewer wanting to "figure you out"?
Ask questions and let him answer is the way intelligent celebrity interview people.
Their answers give insight to what they are and what they believe.
Chevy is correct on the main focus there.
She isn't smart enough.
you're not complex, you're human, and there is nothing special about you.
He was always a raging asshole, thats why nobody works with him in the last 30 years.
Ask him about his painkiller addiction and if he is jonesing for a hit right now
