It's not a punk. None of you yesterday's hero 'punks' these days, are actually punks. Anyone who dresses like an 80's punk, has 100% totally missed the fucking point. 100%

@MarGarTar enlighten us.

1 +1 Comfortably_numb 3 weeks ago

@Comfortably_numb punk died when it became mainstream and commercialized.

@MarGarTar You don't know shit about punk, bitch. Punks would kick your ass sideways for being the weak ass faggot POS that you are. '80s punks wrote the book, bitch. You modern pussies don't define anything but homo sexual mental illness and stupidity. Get bent.

I don’t think there’s such a thing as “punk” anymore. There’s just these alternative weirdos nowadays. This dude looks like an absolute twink.

@00BuckShot00
So it was you and all those other jerk punks who would crash concerts and the band would run off stage, cheating us out of a performance we paid good money for!!

1 +1 JobyFluorine 3 weeks ago

@Cripple Yikes! Someone STILL has sour grapes from the eighties?

Dude, send me your p.o. box addy and I'll send you American Beauty (1970) first edition, pristine condition, to fix this rift. (hugs) :)

@JobyFluorine
Punk musicians were all cool, and their fans could do whatever they wanted AT THEIR CONCERTS.

But the punk promoters (maybe like member 00Buck there) would set up punk rallys to crash Rock and Folk concerts and start their pushing and shoving to the front to create a Mosh Pit that nobody fucking wanted. They did it twice at a local joint that headlined the bands, YES, Arlo Guthrie, James Taylor, James Brown, Iggy Pop, The Police, etc. a fun joint.

All because the owners refused to headline any punk because they always destroyed the bars they played at.
So the punk managers had them crash the concert, fucking breaking up the chairs in the main section down front and over turning the tables in the rear where people could sit and eat before and during the concert.

The entire city, and it's a major city, was the last place in the US punk tried to be popular. And it never became popular there, even to this day.
No 'retro' punk parties, nothing. All because of the actions of the asshole managers.

@00BuckShot00 I remember the first time I saw Sid and Nancy (1986). They had some of the same shit music I was listening to then, and I am still listening to today. Joe Strummer, ftw.

@00BuckShot00 yea, i remember larry's hideaway in toronto in the 70's bringing the punk scene to canada. More beer in the carpet than behind the bar. Good times.
