A Kansas City woman was denied medical care while suffering back-to-back seizures after her husband filed a complaint against Overland Park Regional Hospital One week ago a man named Quae filed a complaint on behalf of his wife, Nisha, at the hospital due to her experiencing seizures. Hours after her discharge, she was found blocks away in a puddle of water on the side of the road, having another seizure. A Good Samaritan discovered her and provided assistance until emergency medical services arrived. Hours later, Quae learned about the incident and reported the hospital. Later that day, his wife had another seizure and was discharged after they discovered that the husband had filed a report against the hospital. Hospital staff called security on the husband after he confronted them for refusing to care for her while she was having seizures. Security personnel escorted the husband and his wife from the room while having seizures. That is when the husband contacted the Overland Park Police Department. Upon their arrival, they witnessed the incident as Quae was providing aid to his wife. Police informed them that they had to take action, prompting the emergency room staff to intervene.

Most likely the medical staff couldn’t understand Ebonics.

Yet they are front page on all corporate advertising and products. Should be a priority caring for such VIP.

I've had one of those before. They're scary. All they have to do is give her some lorazepam to stop it tho.

@YOLO_ Is she conscious of her surroundings or in a sleep state?

2 +1 YOLO_ 2 weeks ago

@Gutshot sleep state. but more like unconscious. a seizure is like your brain blue screening for a bit, and taking awhile to boot back up again.

@Wayne82Wayne That's what I was wondering. I've seen people seize before. It didn't look like this. She maybe just trying to get some benzodiazepines.

@Wayne82Wayne No that looked very real.
