@Comfortably_numb Needs more context, for sure. Perhaps he got frustrated with a game in the PS5 and turned that anger towards the cat? That might make the punishment seemed justified. If the cat and the PS5 are unrelated, though, the animal abuse might be stemming from abuse he picked up from his mother, in which case this sort of punishment is most likely just going to add onto his mental anguish and make his issues worse. All the f-bombs in the way she talks to him suggests his issues are more likely stemming from his “wonderful” mother.
