Authorities say Shantay Lashay O'Donnell, 46, was taken into custody Tuesday in another state on unrelated charges. Now, investigators say she's the suspect seen on surveillance video opening fire during the robbery attempt. She's expected to be brought back to Maryland to face multiple charges.

Around 7:43 p.m. on April 17, officers rushed to a Shell gas station on Cradlerock Way for reports of a shooting. When they got there, they found an employee with serious injuries. He was rushed to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment.

Police say the shooting happened during an attempted robbery, and surveillance video helped them identify O'Donnell as the suspect.
