For several days running, Tuapse has been experiencing "oil rains"—a consequence of Ukrainian drone strikes on an oil refinery and a marine terminal on April 16 and 20

Local residents have hundreds of questions: Is the water safe to drink? Why haven't school classes been cancelled? How can they clean the oil off their cars and vegetable gardens?

 

Volunteers assisting homeless animals have reported that cats, dogs, and birds are in dire condition. Almost every animal in the city has been affected, and many are showing signs of poisoning.
