Mom and Six Children Killed in Pennsylvania House Explosion

A mother and her six children, ages 3 to 11, were killed when their home in Lamar Township, Pennsylvania, exploded and became engulfed in flames Sunday morning. Firefighters arrived around 8:30 a.m. but said the fire was too intense to enter the home and reach the seven people trapped inside.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the blast, with a possible propane leak inside the residence being considered, though officials said external propane tanks did not explode or contribute to the fire. Pennsylvania State Police and fire investigators are continuing to examine the scene.
