Scofield never had a "vision", never had an "order from God to write" anything.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior, was deeply moved by the experience (like many, many, people are) and decided to devote his life to understanding Scripture.

He sought out many known, and not so known, theologians to teach and instruct him on the Christian faith.

He NEVER, "Wrote the Scofield study Bible" . What he did was that he didn't change any of the KJV, but just added notes and observations, OUTSIDE of the printed Scripture.

The Bible was written to entrap gentiles and pacify them - and its exactly what has been achieved. Jews and their Demon, Darkness Lord Masters put it together fragmented with Gods truth to confuse good people. One can either say the Bible is the holy script or its not but its hard to argue its 60% holy script and 40% the Devils work.
