LMPD releases body camera footage of fatal homicide suspect shooting

Ten days after Louisville Metro Police officers shot and killed a man they said was a homicide suspect April 6, officials released body camera footage showing the scene unfold near a downtown restaurant.

 

Nathan Walker, 18, was killed after approaching officers with his gun drawn in a downtown parking lot near First Street and Broadway. Deputy Chief Ryan Bates said members of LMPD's Criminal Interdiction Division were in the area investigating a tip that a suspect involved in a recent homicide was spotted near a Taco Bell location.
