18-wheeler blows through highway median, smashing into a cement truck, causing it to burst into flames in Palm Springs, California.

The incident occurred on the 10 freeway in California.

The cement truck driver, a 62-year-old man from Yucca Valley, was killed during the collision, while the 18-wheeler driver, a 38-year-old man from Menifee, was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for medical treatment of serious injuries.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.

Didn't understand that the marked lanes are to keep vehicles going in opposite direction apart.

Was treating the road like in his native country, India,
