Going from 0 to 45mph in 1/100 of a second will turn half of your internal organs to mush.

There is almost no way that kid survived.

Kid was in the back and got hit by the truck bed, Made out of some hard stuff if he lived.

He could have easily lived through that! He didn't come apart at the seams. They don't have working doors on those 1/4 chinese cabs, so the cab probably disintigrated before he ever got flung out of his seat (which probably stayed glued) Not much worse than speeding down a hill while skiing and then crossing one ski over the other. You go airborne.

FMD that poor kid took it hard. You wouldn't wanna wake up after that.
