No, it's more like this. Say the government wants to BLOCK citizens from purchasing anything because of this or that. With the flip of a switch they can stop you from purchasing anything.
Plus, if they see you trying to buy something THEY don't want you to, they can block that.
Tie digital currency & universal healthcare together.
Now, walk into some place to buy say a burger & fries. NOPE, not allowed! Your last mandatory health check says your BMI is too high, your weight is too high. But, you can be allowed
