@BillD.Wall They are. You just don't see them flying next to the HH60G Pave Hawks. CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) high-threat operations consist of several A10s close escort and few F15, F16, or F35 air cover. A10s will fly ahead of the rescue helicopters and check for threat level and then stay a bit offset to avoid tipping off. They will be in the striking distance of HH60G rescue helicopters. Only time both A10s and HH60G are likely seen together is during the actual pickup to deter enemy movement and/or suppress enemy fire.
