Typical turd world elevator construction with no governor safety to arrest uncontrolled decent. Probably a chinese made POS without the proper safety equipment installed.

They overloaded an elevator that wasn't even up to 1stworld countries code of safety. Non news.

Similar to "man builds own plane and falls off cliff in it" like duh.

@GulliblestartswithN That is exactly what they did. Those small elevators cannot do more than 630kg.

@essence25 In the USA and canada such small elevators are classified LULA's ( limited use , limited access ) . Anyhow at least in north America they have plank switches that detect stupid overloading and will shut elevator down. And if not they have governor safeties that engage if overspeed in the down direction. Obviously this shitbag foreign elevator had neither - life is cheap "over there".
