@criminalarmageddon I agree with the blind swordsman, he reached for the gun at same time as handing the phone and tucked his head out of the way. He stayed focused on the gun until it was gone before bothering to wrestle with the prick. Its a tricky one because I have also seen people totally comply and still get blasted. Personally I would say go for the weapon if you can and keep it controlled at all costs, ignore any strikes coming your way until that thing is secured.
