«Their logic was probably to chase the shark down and kill it regardless of the fact that they dangled that person in the water like bait. There needs to be set waivers that state if you fuck around with wildlife in this manner then you're doing so at your own risk and in case of a situation arising you have no right to kill the animal.
This is of course different from minding your own business in the wilds and are attacked randomly where self defense would be allowed.
But to jump in an exhibit at the zoo or a cage in the ocean and then to be attacked? You deserve the consequences. Not the captured/incarcerated animal.»
