None of them got the balls to attempt a rescue. Anybody know about the guy that swam 100 feet out in the frozen Potomac to rescue someone about to go under? It was that plane that struck a bridge in DC early 80s.

No, most of them cannot. And the ones who can usually have no clue how to save a drowning person.
And once on the ground, CPR is totally unknown.
Shame the kids had to drown.
All in a country where there are lakes and rivers everywhere.
Too busy bowing down to cattle to learn anything of value in life.
