RT Journalist and Cameraman Wounded in Israeli Airstrike in Southern Lebanon

Russia Today (RT) journalist Steve Sweeney and his cameraman Ali Rida were both injured Thursday when an Israeli missile struck near their vehicle in southern Lebanon.

The strike hit less than 10 metres from their marked press car close to the Al-Qasmiya Bridge.

Sweeney suffered shrapnel wounds to his arm and had the fragments removed in hospital; both men are conscious and in stable condition, according to the network.

That is British national Steve Sweeney who is a propagandist working for Russian media. There are tunnels underneath the Al-Qasmia bridge known for hezbullah movements and illegally transportation of thousands of weapons. An explicit warning had been issued to residents and media journalists regarding this area hours in advance. The RT state tv channel ignored these evacuation warnings resulting in its staff members being slightly injured. FAFO

If you play this video in slow motion, you can see the bomb drop right into that hole in the ground behind him. So, he is very lucky that the bomb exploded inside that hole in the ground or he would have been killed.
