Reuters confirmed the location from the buildings, road layout and trees seen in the videos which matched satellite imagery of the area. The position of the parked cars and the burning wreckage is the same in the eyewitness video and in the Israeli military video.
The exact date when the videos were filmed could not be verified but no older versions of the videos were found posted online before Tuesday.
