Rachel Tussey, 47, shared her cosmetic surgery journey with her followers on TikTok

 

Her husband, Jeremy Tussey, says after the surgery he briefly spoke with her doctor, who was leaving for the day and reassured him the surgery had gone well

 

A nurse then checked on Rachel after giving her pain medication

 

Jeremy noticed her face was off-color and she stopped responding

 

Medical staff performed CPR and contacted the plastic surgeon, who instructed them to call emergency services

 

Rachel was transported by ambulance to the hospital and placed on life support

 

Doctors informed Jeremy she had gone over six minutes without oxygen and was declared brain dead
