The manager should bench any player who would force the game to stop because of this kind of nonsense. Then once said player has done what it is they need to do, they can perhaps be used as a substitute later in the match.

Benching wouldn't just be for the inconvenience, but also due to effect it may have on the flow of the match. It could be a gamechanger, which is not only bad for the team on top, but also on those who place their bets..!!
