A security guard who was caught on camera allegedly assaulting a man accused of stealing from a downtown Winnipeg store has been arrested.

 

According to Winnipeg police, the security guard, a 23-year-old man, was arrested Monday night without incident.

 

He faces charges of assault with a weapon, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

In todays climate of unchecked crime, violence? "Too much"? Hell to the no! If anything it needs to be dialed up

Provided no wrongful deaths or undue incidental injuries but the problem drastically outweighs the procedural / policy risks
