The Sejjil (or Sejil) is a family of Iranian two-stage, solid-fueled medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) designed to replace older liquid-fueled systems like the Shahab. It features a range of 2,000–2,500 km, capable of carrying a 500–1,500 kg payload at speeds of Mach 4–5. Launched from mobile platforms, its solid fuel allows for rapid deployment and improved accuracy (up to 50m).
