India: A disturbing video is circulating on social media, showing the horrifying moment when two bikers fall in front of a car, triggering fear and shock among viewers as the riders narrowly escape a major accident. The incident occurred when a few people were recording scattered gravel on the road, which is believed to have contributed to the mishap. The accident is said to have taken place on Ramlila Road in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. Number plates visible on several vehicles in the footage also point to the same location. The video has drawn the attention of millions of viewers, many of whom have strongly criticised the city administration for negligence and poor maintenance of public infrastructure.
The footage shows a motorcycle skidding and losing control due to loose gravel and pebbles on the road. As the bike slipped, the rider and his pillion passenger fell onto the road and narrowly missed being hit by an approaching car. Since the car was moving at a slow speed, a major accident was averted. Locals, who were recording the video, rushed forward to rescue the two bikers. Although they survived, they appeared to have sustained injuries after falling on the stones.
