TULSA, Okla. -Multiple people were hurt Saturday night after a crash during the demolition derby at the Darryl Starbird Rod and Custom Car Show.

The incident happened around 9 p.m., shortly after the demolition derby event began. Video sent to News On 6 shows a demolition derby car rounding a corner inside the arena before driving through a nearby safety barrier and into a crowd of spectators watching the event.

 

The footage appears to show the car crashing through the barrier and striking several people gathered along the edge of the arena.
