An incident of alleged domestic violence has shocked the community of Puerto Gaitán after a video circulated on social media showing a man physically assaulting a woman, reportedly his former partner.

According to preliminary reports, the argument stemmed from a motorcycle payment dispute, as the woman apparently owed two installments. The video shows the man, wearing a black shirt, throwing punches while saying, "If I have to go to jail, I'll go," asserting that he would accept any legal consequences for his actions.
