A murder occurred at the District Panchayat office in Rampur on February 11th. The lawyer was shot and killed by the office clerk. Live CCTV footage of the entire incident surfaced on Thursday.

In the video, lawyer Farooq first slaps clerk Asgar Ali three times. The two then argue for about five minutes. Farooq then starts to leave and says something to the clerk. Enraged, Babu Asgar Ali pulls out his licensed revolver from his waistband and challenges Farooq.

Farooq returns and confronts the clerk, and a scuffle ensues. The two fight, falling onto the clerk's chair. During this, the clerk holds the revolver in his hand, his finger on the trigger. He fires two shots at the lawyer's chest. The third bullet hits the clerk in the stomach. He then walks out of his office.

He threatens the lawyer's colleague with the revolver. He then hits Farooq's wife with the butt of his revolver and flees. Meanwhile, Farooq, wounded by the bullet, dies while sitting on a chair.
