Baal , another name for Satan, is also who Allah is.

Baal is also found in Egyptian hieroglyphs as a worshipped god.

Satan has been worshipped in the middle east for many millenia as Baal.

He reset his image and name as Allah when the middle eastern races rejected God once again. He knew his moniker as Baal had run it's course and would no longer be worshipped as such.
He also realized that a new name and a new image would fool the multitudes who were looking for someone to worship in the 6th and 7th centuries that refused to accept the one true God.
