Two-Year-Old Opens Car Door, Triggers 6-Vehicle Pile-Up on Busy Highway — Kuala Lumpur. The child safety lock was not activated, allowing the door to open from inside. A 25-year-old man on a Suzuki V-Strom SX motorcycle, filtering between lanes, struck the open door, lost control, and crashed into multiple vehicles (four cars and one other motorcycle). A second motorcyclist (30-year-old on a CFMoto 675 NK) behind him could not avoid the pile-up and was also involved. The Suzuki rider was seriously injured and taken to Hospital Kuala Lumpur; the second rider sustained minor injuries. No fatalities reported. The case is under investigation for careless and inconsiderate driving (Section 43(1), Road Transport Act 1987); police are reviewing CCTV and dashcam footage.
