Yes, it's an extraterrestrial "craft," but they aren't "aliens." They're simply observing us with drones; there's no one inside these objects, which are about the size of a gym ball. You see, these objects they pilot can travel from New York to Seattle in less than 10 seconds... and yet, when the U.S decides to press the button to destroy a stationary one, it very often doesn't even flinch. So they could avoid it, but they don't; they could retaliate, but they don't. Simply because it's not a suicide attack, but merely a loss of equipment, and any retaliation would immediately nullify the mass surveillance mission.

Anyway, that's also the Pentagon theory.
