The Paraguayan Air Force intercepted an aircraft flying at low altitude and without authorization in the airspace of the Concepción department. The detection occurred around 1:45 pm local time, when radar identified the irregular traffic within Paraguayan airspace. After identifying the aircraft, a Paraguayan Air Force Embraer A-29 Super Tucano was dispatched to intercept it. Due to the immediate response of local forces, the aircraft fled toward the border, triggering communication protocols with Brazil.
