Now the dollar general is doing us dry for 8/10ths of a pound of sugar in a 4 pound size. Once upon a time the FTC wrote hefty fines for such things.

But seriously folks, it's not just Walmart.

Check any pre-packed chicken breast packages, if you aren't careful, you'll end up paying $2.99 lb for 10 oz. of water.

Kroger's 3 lb hamburger pkg never weighs out to 3 one pound packs once I split it up into separate zipper bags.
Last one will weigh between 13 or 14 ounces.
